MissionOG Announces Promotion of Kevin Leonard to Partner and Zack Strauss to Senior Associate

MissionOG, a Philadelphia-based growth equity firm, announced the promotion of two team members: Kevin Leonard to Partner and Zack Strauss to Senior Associate.

PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 4, 2024 The promotions of Kevin and Zack mark another significant step forward for MissionOG. They have both provided substantial value as the firm has advanced its investment platform to best source and diligence potential partner companies, and help manage those companies post investment.

Kevin began with MissionOG in 2016 as a senior analyst and has demonstrated exceptional judgement and leadership. Kevin's contributions include the development of the investment team's structure and execution plan and fostering a data-driven approach to identifying, vetting, and nurturing high-growth companies aligned with our investment objectives. His role in helping to manage portfolio companies such as Accurate Group, BridgeFT, Brightfield Solutions, and VRGL has been invaluable. Before joining MissionOG, Kevin was an assistant vice president in the corporate banking group at Wells Fargo. He holds a BS in Finance from Georgetown University and an MBA from Villanova University.

Zack joined MissionOG as an analyst in 2021 and quickly became a pivotal asset to the investment team. During his tenure, Zack has significantly enriched our portfolio performance tracking, facilitated deal sourcing and diligence processes, and refined our thematic approach to investing. His contributions were instrumental to our investments in companies such as d1g1t, Roots Automation, and Yardstik. Prior to joining MissionOG, Zack gained experience in investment banking with Janney Montgomery Scott. He holds a BS in Finance from Tulane University.
